Steamed Rainbow

"Steamed Rainbow is my best approximation of what it would smell like if you could get to a rainbow and put your nose on it. I have synesthesia. So colors smell like things to me, and fragrant materials have colors. So I took one for each color and mixed them together and tried to make it smell like all the colors at once instead of just one of them. It smells like you're in humid petricore right after it rains. There's something citrus and floral and musky. And if you wanna smell like a rainbow, that's how to do it."

I've wanted to make something that smelled like a rainbow for a long time (especially inspired by Terry Riley's A Rainbow In Curved Air). The concept is to use materials of every color in the rainbow in a certain proportion that is softened in the humid air of their abode. Now you can wear rainbows. Wait 'til you sniff how delicate they are.
